Hey all, I feel like it has been awhile since I have shared a guest post I made, so here is my latest contribution MovieRob’s Genre Grandeur. For last month the theme was Scottish movies, so I went with the bizarre but fascinating Filth, starring James McAvoy. Check it out! Thanks again for hosting me Rob.
For this month’s next review for Genre Grandeur – Scottish Films, here’s a review of Filth (2014) – By Tom of Digital Shortbread
Thanks again to Gill of WeegieMidget Reviews for choosing this month’s genre.
Next month’s Genre has been chosen by Becky of Film Music Central. We will be reviewing our favorite Cyberpunk Movies.
According Wikipedia –
Cyberpunk is a subgenre of science fiction in a future setting that tends to focus on society as “high tech low life” featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as information technology and cybernetics, juxtaposed with a degree of breakdown or radical change in the social order.
Please get me your submissions by the 25th of Dec by sending them to cyberpunkbecky@movierob.net Try to think out of the box! Great choice Becky!
Let’s see what Tom thought of this movie:

I fucking LOVE Filth ❤ Seriously one of my favourites in the last few years, and McAvoy's finest performance, in my opinion. Glad you liked it, even though there were aspects you weren't so keen on. Ahhhh, now I want to go and watch it all over again xD

I would agree with you — this is James McAvoy’s best moment. It is such an ugly character but one that is so fun to watch. Goodness I gotta go watch this again myself!!! . So much fun.
