I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again.
I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. They are terrible and unfunny. It’s only kind of funny if you think about Sandler using that pistol to put whatever’s left of his career out of its misery.
I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. There is zero acting in this movie. Cero. Nada.
I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. In this one, he (Max) and his friend (Charlie) fake their own deaths so they can escape their depressing current lives, for good. I wish Adam Sandler and David Spade faked their own deaths and they’d go be something different somewhere else.
I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. Paula Patton is seriously incredible looking in this movie though. Oh, that was a weird type-o. That was supposed to say something about how badly this film failed the Bechdel Test.
I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. I will never be duped by another Adam Sandler movie again. Can I take the last hour and forty-whatever-minutes, and have a Do-Over? For the love of god man.
Recommendation: You know what? It’s really painful to watch talent just go completely to Justin Bieber-levels of waste. If Adam Sandler doesn’t want to try, I’m not going to either.
Rated: NR
Running Time: way too long
Quoted: “What was so terrible about your life that you wanted a whole new one?”

Oh good, I’m glad! 🙂 That makes up for the lack of laughter you’ll surely find if you ever are bored enough to put this on.

Hahah great review! that perfectly sums u how I’ve felt about almost every Adam Sandler movie. Thankfully, one day I did stop being duped by Adam Sandler movies. Life is much better now.

Unfortunately I didn’t stop being duped until obviously right now. I don’t know what it was that made me cave and check this out. Maybe how readily available it was (although that doesn’t explain why I am still yet to see The Ridiculous Six — I think just how terrible that looked was enough to scare me away on its own). I have to say man, the crickets came out chirping for this terrible “work of art”

LOOOOOOOOOL! I was SURE that this “wow” was on the shockingly bad side of the spectrum xD

. . . and now you know the truth behind why this tag even exists 😉 Actually, I think I originally started using it because I saw a movie where something crazy dramatic happened and then thought, well this would be a cool way for people to follow other posts, so I started using it a lot. Now it has multiple purposes 😀

xD A few birds, one stone! I can’t help but laugh when I see it hahahaha.
But Adam Sandler movies… sheesh.

Adam Sandler movies are officially now something I’m going to avoid. I gave in here because it almost looked like a spy type film. I’m a sucker for those. And I was even willing to overlook the fact David Spade is in it. But I was better off going with my gut instincts Zoe!!!!!! 😦 😦

Oh I did too, don’t get me wrong. All the parts where Paula Patton was on-screen 😉 Other than that, yeah, this movie is going to be exiting both my long-term and short-term memory pretty damn quickly.

Your review was really funny. I’ve got that phrase of not being duped in my head now.

Haha thanks man. I wonder who else is going to be suffering from that. I just had to make my point, ya know?

Hahahaha, gotta love it. Never again eh? 😛
I saw the trailer for this and was thinking… who is that other guy, who is that other g….. oh good god it is David Spade. I then forgot about it entirely, until now.
Was Sandler even much of a talent to begin with? The film he did with PTA would suggest that he has some, but almost everything else says the opposite.

Yeah man, Never. Again. Like 9/11 and The Holocaust.
Sandler is a talented guy. He is funny, I firmly stand behind that opinion. But that’s what makes this so frustrating. The guy just doesn’t seem to give a crap anymore and watching him just do this again and again is almost heartbreaking. I mean, he’s just so bad now it’s not even cool.

He is simply the worst. Sandler is the master of shovel-ready movies. I’ve never thought he was great, but now he’s simply atrocious in every regard. He regurgitates garbage movies at an astounding pace.

It’s the consistency with which he churns these things out that really gets me, everyone is entitled to the occasional dud or vanity project or what-have-you. But yeah, I used to like Adam Sandler in the 90s, but he wasn’t doing much different back then if truth is to be told. His shtick has just gotten old and now it’s worse. He just d9esnt seem to care.
